Using the recycled water on campus

 

– The waste water management system of the university will be sent to the central waste water treatment plant. It is sent to treat into the aeration tank through sedimentation system with overflow, and then used the filter system again before sending to use in each part, such as watering plants and fire truck.

1,600 cubic meters per day (48,000 cubic meters per month) is treated, then treated water will be utilized for the following activities:

1.Watering plants 29,406 cubic meters/month
2.Car washing 150 cubic meters/month
3.Releasing to the public canal 18,444 cubic meters/month

The use of water-efficient appliances on campus

Installation of motion-sensor faucets and toilet flushing equipment

– The example of the water-efficient appliances (i.e. water tap, toilet flush, etc.) used in the toilets at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Klong Hok Campus.
– Representing the campaign of water consumed in the toilets.

Water from the toilets and grease traps will be sent to the treatment pond of the university. Treatment ponds are counted as 100 percent of all buildings.
